100x100/6: C4 Passaggio Exercise-Treble Voices

Every singer can sing smoothly across C4 passaggio.

Appropriate, stable, pharyngeal space permits smooth transition.

Vowels passively migrate in stable pharyngeal space

So.

Establish oh vowel, with timbral ring and depth, (heuristically equivalent to pharyngeal height and depth), on A3.

Slide slowly up to A4, back down to A3.

Continually observe pharyngeal kinaesthetic (space-feel)

Break on ascent? Either, initial space/sound wrong, or altered on ascent.

Break on descent? Either A4 became held, or descent changed space

So, either:

adjust initial space/sound.

Or:

Avoid changing feel of space during exercise. (Monitor pharyngeal stability).

Adjust, repeat, noticing feel, seeking stillness, till solved.
