100x100/14: Present. Tense.

Analysing the present sticks singing: the mind should be flowing ahead. Critiquing just-then, hearing right-now, blindfolds: who sees next sound, or imagines why? Present-tense action presents tension.

Sight-singing, coloratura and persuasion surprise singers into quality.

What sounds are to come?

What sounds are coming so swiftly?!

How can I swiftly persuade?

These improve singing through incidental future-focus. Forward-running imagination frees physicality, which follows imagination’s diktats.

Hearing future is teachable, insistable, actable.

Try: deliberately, taking time, pre-hearing sung-sounds before uttering: trust body delivers. Hear sounds complete - vowel, duration, emotion, timbre - not only pitch.

Then, pre-hear whole phrase-sentences during in-breath.
